Mr. (Luqman) (chairman of Peduli Insan Malaysia) said: “the importance of this project lies in its practical application of the meanings of solidarity and compassion among Muslims, as the project aim to deliver meat during the blessed Eid Al-Adha to our Syrian brothers who are suffering from a real tragedy in these days; so many of them have not eaten meat for several months, and perhaps many others have not eaten it since last Eid al-Adha feast.” Mr. (Luqman) added that Qurban 4 Ummah program includes approximately 1000 qurbans and targets nearly 30,000 families ( elderly - orphans - people with special needs - the poor and the needy - and families without a breadwinner). The organization’s team in northern Syrian systematically makes sure that all qurbans meet the health conditions in accordance with Islamic regulations and teachings, and confirm that they are free of any diseases. At the end of the interview, Mr.(Luqman) shared the situation of the displaced Syrians and said that they suffer difficult living conditions under the current circumstances. All those there have been forced to leave their homes and villages and be displaced as a result of the horrors of the ongoing war, in addition to the fact that most families do not have a breadwinner due to the loss of their children in the war that has been taking place there for more than ten years.
