(Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia) bakery to relieve displaced Syrians
It is an integrated bakery that serves more than three thousand Syrian families on a daily basis in the Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon and some surrounding villages.
This project represents a lifeline for thousands of Syrian refugees, and an alleviation of their daily suffering in obtaining food, as the bakery produces about 42,000 loaves per day, and provides bread inside the shelters.
It also provides job opportunities for Syrians, as all workers in the bakery are displaced, in addition to providing job opportunities for the residents of the camps by involving Syrian women in the process of producing bread mannish(dough topped with thyme, cheese, or ground meat)
