Undeniably, water is a very important resource in life.
In fact, a human being can only survive for about 3 days without water.
Unfortunately, this essential resource is extremely scarce in countries like Yemen.
Not only are they besieged by war and famine, but Yemen also faces a critical issue - a water crisis.
For those living in areas surrounded by deserts and scorching sun, clean water becomes one of their necessities to continue their survival.
Due to the severe water shortage, some have to walk kilometers just to obtain a source of clean water.
Some are even willing to drink from contaminated sources. Not only that, the price of clean water is also too expensive for them to afford.
Alhamdulillah, with the support of the public, the first Peduli Insan Clean Water Well has been successfully built in Yemen.
The well, equipped with a large water storage tank powered by a solar energy system, is able to benefit thousands of local residents in Yemen.
This is a good start for the Yemen Water Well Project.
