In cooperation with its partners, Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (Peduli Insan) is sending three containers to relieve Syrian refugees in Lebanon
In cooperation with its partners, Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (Peduli Insan) is sending three containers to relieve Syrian refugees in Lebanon: As part of the Winter Campaign 20-21, Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (Peduli Insan), sent, on Friday 5-12-2020 AD, 20-4-1442 Hijri, the containers number(17,18,19) for the benefit of the Syrian refugees in the camps of Arsal and the Bekaa in Lebanon. This has been implemented in cooperation with the following humanitarian organizations in Malaysia: MFS, GPM, MVM, Cinta Syria Malaysia (CSM), MyFund Action, Rizq Ar Rahman dan NGO Haluan The three containers contain large quantities of supplies needed by Syrian refugees, such as food, clothes, baby milk, diapers for children and the elderly, in addition to sterilizers and face masks to counter the Coronavirus. Mr. Luqman Al-Hakim (Head of Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (Peduli Insan)) said: “We launched this project in cooperation with our partners as part of the Winter Campaign. Peduli Insan’s volunteers and partner organizations received donations in Peduli Insan’s warehouses and carried out the processes of collection and sorting the items and then put them in carton boxes before shipping them. They will be distributed in the camps according to our lists of people in need, with priority given to the families of the martyrs, including widows, orphans, and those in urgent need.” He added: We chose the Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon because people there are in dire need of this kind of aid, as the temperature reaches five below zero, and accumulated snow reaches about 50 cm while they have no means of heating or winter clothing to protect their children and those who are sick from the cold. It is worth noting that this project is not the only one for Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (Peduli Insan), but rather it is part of the Winter 20-21 campaign that the organization launched a short time ago through three projects for relief, education, health care and provision of heating devices for Syrians living in camps in an attempt to alleviate their suffering and tragedy.

Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia launches Winter 20-21 campaign to bring warmth to the hearts of displaced Syrians
Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia launches Winter 20-21 campaign to bring warmth to the hearts of displaced Syrians With the approaching winter season of 1441 AH - 2020 AD, Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia launches Winter 20-21 campaign to support the displaced people living in camps within the areas in northern Syria and Arsal camp in Lebanon, confirming the importance of The Islamic bond between the Malaysian and Syrian peoples, which help each other during times of adversity and crisis. The Winter campaign contains three big projects that will continue until next February, The projects are: (the heating project - the clothing project - the food parcel project), targeting (the elderly - orphans - people with special needs - the poor and the needy - and families that do not have financial support. ) Mr. Luqman (head of the Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia) said: “The Winter Campaign is a religious, humanitarian, and moral duty towards our brothers displaced in the camps within the northern regions of Syria and Arsal camp. We do not accept seeing Syrian children suffer from severe cold and continuous floods that enter their worn-out tents without providing assistance for them and their families. This is what we have been doing for more than eight years” Mr. Luqman added: “Our goal is to provide assistance to around 150,000 families through distributions that start during the next month and which will continue until the end of the winter season, God willing.” Mr. Luqman explained the contents of the projects: “The projects are relief projects that help the displaced Syrians warm their bodies from the harsh winter cold, thick snow and constant floods. The heating project contains (heating fuel such as diesel and others - a heater), while the clothing project contains (beanies - scarfs- gloves- socks), the third project is food parcel. It is worth noting that the Winter Campaign is one of the most important seasonal projects of Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia, because of the urgent need of displaced Syrians for this type of campaign, which in turn helps them overcome the cold winter and the pathological and other complications that follow.
